Quardev is a Primary Sponsor for the Conference of the Association for Software Testing (CAST)
Quardev is proud to be a primary sponsor of CAST 2007, the only major conference on Software Testing in the greater Seattle area. The conference takes place July 9-11, 2007 and is the second meeting of this annual conference. CAST 2007 is organized by the Association for Software Testing (AST), a nonprofit professional service organization and serves the software testing community as a forum for discussions of all software testing aspects from practical techniques to theoretical concepts. This year’s theme is Testing Techniques, Innovations, and Applications.
In the spirit of the theme, the conference is structured in a way that fosters interaction. Each presentation has a discussion facilitator and a five minute pre-presentation pitch that enables attendees to decide whether the talk is the right one for them with an opportunity to move to another talk. Also, there will be a series of 5-minute lightening talks, live software testing competitions, as well as full day workshops - including an all-day software testing certification debate between Cem Kaner and representatives from four certification organizations: QAI, ASQ, IIST, and ASTQB.
The conference includes leading industry experts and thinkers including Cem Kaner, the director of Florida Institute of Technology's Center for Software Testing Education & Research, James Bach, Satisfice, Inc., Doug Hoffman, Software Quality Methods, Rob Sabourin, Amibug, Esther Derby, Esther Derby & Associated, Keith Stobie, Microsoft, Lee Copeland, SQE, Harry Robinson, Google, and Jon Bach, Quardev, Inc.
This three day interactive learning and discussion conference will be held at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Washington, July 9-11, 2007.
